Pia Murphy was born in Melbourne in 1981. She graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2004 with a major in printmaking. Murphy has held solo exhibitions in Melbourne since 2009 and has been included in group exhibitions in Melbourne and Sydney. Her art practice has included ceramics, printmaking and painting. She currently works from her home studio in Birregurra Victoria.
